UHMS is led by a team of experts led by Mr. Imad Sadek, one of the most prominent leaders and innovators in the field of HealthCare management. Mr. Sadek is the former Managing Director of External Medical Affairs and the Past Deputy Hospital Director at the American University of Beirut- Medical Center. Beirut Global Foundation for CHD
Founded and led by Professor Fadi Bitar and Professor Issam El Rassi, Beirut Global Foundation for Congenital Heart Disease (BGF4CHD) aims to establish a forum that creates solutions, identifies and utilizes resources that lead to promoting high-quality medical services and care in developing countries.
The Foundation assists in building developed programs for children with Congenital Heart Disease and supports humanitarian initiatives.
The Foundation provides medical services, educational and training programs and raises awareness and support research for the wellbeing and betterment of children with CHD.

Labib Medical Center (LMC)
Labib Medical Center (LMC) has been dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to patients across Lebanon and the Middle East. LMC’s roots can be traced back to 1947, where the late Dr. Labib Kamel Abouzahr converted an old two-story building in the heart of Saida, Lebanon, into a small medical center called Al Ahli hospital. By 1974, Al Ahli expanded rapidly to meet the needs of a growing population and was eventually relocated to a much larger facility, where Dr. Abouzahr renamed the institution to Labib Medical Center.
Over the last few decades, special emphasis was placed on the progressive development of LMC’s internal quality program, which led to the achievement of the ISO-9001 certification in 2007 in recognition of the high standard of quality across all areas of service and operations throughout the hospital.
